Speeches

As you can tell people are really nervous about there speeches. Cooper is talking about origami. People ask lots of questions about his speech

This is Lily who is also doing a speech on origami.
She is showing a picture long long long origami chain.
This is a Kusudama Ball, the hardest origami that she has done.

Next is Jololene.
She is wearing a Greek goddess dress that she and her mom made.
Isn't that beautiful.
Jolene is talking about Hades, Persphone, Zeus, Demeter, Apollo and ect.
There are some very deadly parts. Apollo shot people who did not like him with an bow-arrow and never missed. I would not want to be one of those people!

Elise is next.
She is doing her speech on basketball.

Elise is wearing her basketball jersey. Her number is 24. Dribble dribble shot and scored. That is what a basket ball game sounds like.
She loves basketball.

Zander is next.
He is doing a speech about hedgehogs.
Zander,s speech is very great.

Here is the amazing Gorge on a unicycle. He is doing his speech on his unicycle. Isn't
that hilarious.

This is a pennythorth.

That is Sophat shaking his hair back and forth.

Sophat is next.
His speech is about Cambodia. There was a lot of murder in the first paragraph he talked about. But over all it was great.

 Andres is next.
He is talking about his house. And moving. He said"my house was huge when he got there."
There was dead plants in the front, and flat basketballs in the back, but they cleaned it all up. There was no grass at his new house, that's dreadful.

Next is Austen.
His speech is on tennis. What a nice racket. There were some great facts.

And that is all the speeches for 1/30/14. And all of them sounded amazing.

George and Ezra

Both boys brought in items to share. George has many pelts and tools that he received as a Christmas present.

Ezra is our Jackdaw this week. He brought in many items that help describe his likes and talents- which there are many.

Our Auction Project in Progress

Our auction project got off to a great start last Friday. The students used tissue paper to create "fireworks." This week and possibly next they are going to create a Portland cityscape. This project is already turning out to be a beauty. I can't wait to see the finished product.
